Cory M. Pettinella has joined the Bank as First Vice President, Commercial Banker. He is responsible for cultivating external relationships in the local community as well as managing full banking relationships with commercial clients in Rochester and the Finger Lakes Region. Pettinella brings more than 10 years of banking experience to Five Star Bank and he most recently served as Commercial Lender for Capital Bank, NA in Greater Washington, DC. He previously held progressive banking roles at M&T Bank, culminating in his role as Relationship Manager.
Pettinella earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Syracuse University, Whitman School of Business. Originally from Rochester, he recently moved back to the area to raise his family and is an active volunteer in local youth sports programs. Pettinella is based at Five Star Bank’s Regional Administrative Center in downtown Rochester.

James D. Sharrow has joined the Bank as First Vice President, Senior Commercial Banker. In this role, he is responsible for cultivating external relationships in the local community as well as managing full banking relationships with commercial clients in Rochester and the Finger Lakes Region.
Sharrow has more than 17 years of Western New York banking and finance experience. He most recently served as Vice President, Commercial Equipment Finance for M&T Bank for seven years. Sharrow earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Rochester. He also received a Management Studies Certificate in Marketing, Accounting/Finance and Public Sector Analysis from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester. Community support activities include volunteering efforts for the United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Foodlink and coaching various youth sports. Sharrow is based at Five Star Bank’s Regional Administrative Center in downtown Rochester.

Alexander N. Rozaklis has been named Commercial Real Estate Banker. In this role, Rozaklis is responsible for cultivating and managing full banking relationships with commercial real estate developers in the Rochester and Finger Lakes Region.
Rozaklis joined Five Star Bank as a Commercial Credit Analyst in June of 2017 after completing an internship with the Bank. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Corporate Finance with a Minor in Economics from St. John Fisher College, School of Business. Rozaklis is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Victor Central School District and is based at Five Star Bank’s Regional Administrative Center in downtown Rochester.
