Electronic Federal Tax Payment System
The Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS) is a free service of the U.S. Department of the Treasury that can be used to pay any federal tax. EFTPS is the world’s largest tax collection system and includes phone and Internet options.
- Business customers may be able to schedule payments in advance.
- Individuals may be able to schedule payments in advance.
- Up to sixteen months of payment history can be viewed online.
