Send Money

Get funds where they need to go.

Whether you're paying back your brother for concert tickets, splitting the bill at your favorite restaurant or paying the babysitter, the Send Money feature within Five Star Bank Digital Banking makes it easy to send money to friends and family.
 
  • It's simple. Just add your contact's cell phone number or email address to get started.
  • It's trusted. You create a unique security question that must be answered correctly by the recipient in order for them to access the funds.
  • It's fast. Payments are sent in real-time. 
 

Overview

The Send Money feature within Five Star Bank Digital Banking allows you to electronically pay friends or family members - even if they are not a Five Star Bank customer.

Get started

In the Transfers & Payments tab, click the Send Money tile.
  1. Select the Pay button.
  2. Click the + icon at the top of the screen.
  3. Complete the 2-Step Verification process.
  4. Fill out the contact information for who you are sending money to. This includes First Name, Last Name, and either the recipient's Cell Phone Number or Email Address.
  5. Choose a security question and answer. NOTE: The recipient must answer the security question correctly to access the funds.
  6. Click the Save and Pay button.
  7. Specify the amount you'd like to send and include a brief memo.
  8. Select what account to pay from, the send date and frequency of payment.
  9. Select Pay to send your payment.

Tip: You can send money to anyone - even if they are not a Five Star Bank customer. All you need is their phone number or email address.
