The Five Star Bank 2023-24 Broadway Season at Shea's Buffalo Theatre Opens with Mrs. Doubtfire

The growing community bank is lead sponsor for theatre season that runs through June 2024


September 25, 2023, Buffalo, N.Y. –

Five Star Bank is proud to support Shea’s Performing Arts Center and serve as title sponsor of the Five Star Bank 2023-24 Broadway Season at Shea’s Buffalo Theatre, which opened on Sunday, September 24th with a performance of Mrs. Doubtfire.


Five Star Bank leadership, including Chief Community Banking Officer Justin K. Bigham, will be among the many Buffalonians in attendance at Tuesday’s press night, celebrating the start of a fresh theatre season at the beloved cultural institution.


“Western New York benefits in so many ways from our vibrant arts scene and treasured landmarks like Shea’s Performing Arts Center. As a local bank that endeavors to give back meaningfully to our communities, we are so proud to partner with Shea’s and support the 2023-24 season,” said Mr. Bigham.

Brunschmid, Vice President of Operations at Shea’s Performing Arts Center.


In addition to Mrs. Doubtfire, among the productions coming to the stage this season are Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Girl from the North Country, Funny Girl, Les Misérables, Mamma Mia!, and MJ The Musical. In addition, Annie will return as a special engagement in December 2023.
